Showcase a secretless, end-to-end DevOps pipeline. The application is a small shipping-quote API, inspired by earlier work. Kept simple on purpose, because the pipeline and the Terraform are the point.

A pipeline in Azure Pipelines that builds, tests, scans and publishes a FastAPI Docker container. Terraform provisions Azure Container Apps for dev and production. Production releases shift traffic in measured steps, and every Azure login uses workload identity federation.

result

No Azure credential is stored anywhere. Every commit to main passes quality and security gates before it can deploy. If a production release fails, traffic goes back to the previous revision in the same run.

A personal site needed to show how I build and ship things, rather than only say so.

A static Astro site on Azure Static Web Apps, defined in Terraform and delivered by GitHub Actions with OIDC instead of stored cloud credentials.

result

Every pull request is checked, one that changes the site gets a preview, and a merge to main that changes the site deploys through the same pipeline.

APIs and automation

Built a customer-facing API that generates shipping labels across more carriers, and a PowerShell module that replaced a manual data upload between two platforms.

Identity and access

At a managed service provider: planned and implemented Entra ID Privileged Identity Management with just-in-time access, now the blueprint for every customer that needs it, and replaced a failed domain controller.

Device management

Reworked Intune onboarding from about two hours a device to twenty minutes, and automated Android kiosks: an enrolment profile puts each device in a multi-app kiosk group, and a Microsoft Form onboards or wipes a device through Power Automate and Microsoft Graph.

Backup, patching and compliance

Implemented Veeam backups with copies on site, off site and in the cloud, tested quarterly by restoring a lost virtual machine. For my employer's Cyber Essentials Plus renewal, automated Dell Command Update and Windows updates, so every company device came back into compliance where patching had been manual.

Migrations

Moved about 5-6 TB from an on-premises file server to SharePoint for about 160 users: reworked the structure with department managers, migrated with the SharePoint Migration Tool, gave access through Group Policy, and ran the user communication and training.
